We Need to Elect the Right People at Every Level of Government - Support the National Campaign Training Committee

NATIONAL CAMPAIGN TRAINING COMMITTEE (NCTC)
The National Campaign Training Committee (NCTC) is dedicated to giving online training to every Democratic or progressive candidate running for office across the country. You may be thinking that sounds like a "cute" idea, but hear me out.
Did you know there are more than 504,000 locally elected officials across the country? Very few of these races have any access to any kind of campaign training or experienced staff. A vast majority raise less than $2,500 all cycle.
Imagine the difference we could make if every candidate up and down the ballot ran a better turnout operation.
If we increased the winning percentage by just 1%, that’s 5,400 more school board members, judges and local city council members who believe in the reality of climate change, teaching evolution, the separation of church and state, the right to organize and that fundamentally government should be a force for good in improving our society.
Think even farther down the road. This helps build a stronger bench of proven candidates for higher office. Want to stop the ridiculous gerrymandering and redistricting of the U.S. House to prevent any chance of a Democratic majority? We need more local and state leaders.
What these candidates need most is training in campaign fundamentals: How to know how many votes they need to win. How to craft a compelling message. How to raise money.
This is exactly type of online training we plan to give them.
Who Do You Train?
There is no litmus test. If you’re a Democrat running for office, you can have access to the training for free through an in-kind contribution from the NCTC PAC. (Yes, we have good lawyers and compliance staff. There’s a plan all worked out and it’s 100% legal.)
How Much Will It Cost?
This is a simple, cost effective tool to win more elections. We estimate it will only cost us about $100 per candidate. For $1,000,000 we could train 100,000 candidates. That’s a BIG deal.
Several state parties are already on board and anxious for us to roll out in their state. We have candidates asking when we’ll be ready. The need and demand is here. All that’s missing is the money to make it a reality. (Hint, hint…)

Here’s my pitch: Join me as a founding member of the National Campaign Training Committee PAC with a $100, $50, or even $25 contribution. Let’s elect a whole lot of local candidates who could use our help. Together we can change the world. (OK, we can at least elect more Democrats.)

PS - We’re not trying to replace any existing political trainings or step on any toes. There just aren’t enough of them (trainings, not toes.) Online training scales much more effectively. If you train candidates and/or want to help with the NCTC, we want to work with you. Email me and let’s talk.
